Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè (/ʤɘˈèjɘ/ /ˈralo/ [volume] [premise; thesis]) is a subtropical City located in the Qíîsîrêyê Sêpíêto Zone of the Engineer's Guild.

The name Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè is derived from the Goblin language, as Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè was founded by Tsêrêrèj, who was culturaly Iron Elf.

Climate

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè receives an average of 209 cm/y (82 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè covers an area of nearly 48 km2 (19 mi2), and an average elevation of 4158 m (13641 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè was founded durring the late 11th century, by Tsêrêrèj. The establishment of Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè's construction back out of the project. Tsêrêrèj pushed on reguardles, and Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of spacious paverstone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. Astonishigly, the cost-cutting-focused defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè's parks.

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..

Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè used to be much richer, but something happened in the last 1 years to crush its source of prosperity. Different factions of the community might be trying to grasp at the remaining dregs of wealth, others might try to restart the failed industry, and some might look for a new livelihood. Any group or entity thought responsible for the collapse is likely to be treated very harshly, and some locals might find profit in shifting the blame to their enemies.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè was attacked by savage tribes living nearby Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè lost 124 people, 390 livestock, and 34 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 46, when members of Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè's militia enacted an operation to train a specific special forces group for an upcoming operation. The operation was complicated by aggravated civilians, who cause problems for the militia for a host of reasons. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in a stalemate for Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Jêèyê-ralo Sêdè's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
